5. High efficiency: High efficiency offers energy-saving, reduced heat generation in power supply equipment, higher reliability, and smaller device size and weight. Many circuit technologies, such as soft switching and energy recovery, have been developed to optimize efficiency.

6. Low pollution: A green-power supply with high input power factor, low harmonic input current, and soft-start features to reduce impact current can limit environmental impact and imperceptibly influence the power grid supply quality.

7. Automatic protection: Protection measures are necessary in the event of abnormal conditions, such as excessive input or disconnect voltage or current, high temperature rise, and so on, to prevent malfunction and ensure that the equipment functions optimally.

8. Lightning and overvoltage protection: Lightning strikes and overvoltage during the operation of the power grid are significant environmental factors that can cause equipment damage. Therefore, equipment must have adequate lightning and overvoltage protection to ensure longevity.

9. Automatic monitoring and centralized control: Automatic monitoring and centralized control are crucial for saving labor and improving system reliability. Some telecommunication bureaus, stations, and urban areas have implemented centralized monitoring, with the aim of achieving nationwide centralized monitoring.

10. Other: Communication equipment must function normally within the specified range of ambient temperature and humidity, have low failure rates, and a long lifespan.
